Question about wi-fi connection

Up until recently I had an Axim 30 with WM 2003. A long time ago I downloaded Boingo, which served well when I seemed not to be able to connect when I was home and when I was elsewhere. I still have it in my documents on my PC. The present Boingo isn't free, that is you have to begin paying after 30 days. My question: while the document on my PC is for WM 2003, will it work as well on my x50v WM5? (Is your answer also true of other downloads?)..............

Some older applications will work with WM5 but not all, you can try to install and you will soon know, if it's not WM5 compatible you'll get an error message that tells you it's not compatible!

You are right. Boingo, intended for the 2003, doesn't work on my WM 5. I tried as you suggested. While it can be downloaded, it doesn't work at all as it did on my x30. Thank you!
