Encode Videos

I just got an X51, and have been having trouble getting the DVD files to play after compression.

I first tried a trial of pay software DVD converter (made by DVDDecriptor) to create a wmf at 640 then again at 480, both times I lost audio after 30s.

I since started to use the sticky sugestion of Auto GordianKnot as I am familiar with DVD decriptor and already have the DVDs reduced to 4GB.

After creating the avi files I had same problem when files size was to small. I increased the files size and itis workin gmost of time, but I am still loosing the audio on every 3rd or 4th encodings.

Even with TCPMP.

1) If there are known tricks or problems with Audio when using Auto GordianKnot can somone please point me to the thread.
2) if there are issues encoding from an already compressed 4GB file, could someplease advise.
3) Since TCPMP is disconitued, are there any threads that list alternatives.
