I've read a lot of posts on this site and others. And tried many PDF readers, but quite frankly I'm shocked and disappointed at the lack of a good go-to pdf reader.
The best one I've come across so far is the new LE 2.5 for Diamond, however that one I don't like because
A) It's impossible to get out of full-screen
B) Tap up or down doesn't go turn the page down/up fully
C) Auto-scroll (I LOVE this feature)
Does anyone know of a PDF reader that does all this? If not, then any reader will do ... even if I have to convert! I've got 500 MB worth of books I wanna start reading, and a crappy PDF reader is not helping.

Have you tried the Adobe Reader for your PPC? It seems to work fine as far as I've noticed. Still ... PDF reading on a pocket device (no matter what kind of reader you have) is not going to be as good as on a full-sized screen.
I agree with CB. None of them are going to be perfect and the screen is too small to get a lot of readable text on the screen at one time. Part of my job is to review PDF files. Most of which are very large (400 or more page) documents. I have reviewed some on my AX. But, only when I had to. Like waiting in the Drs./Dentist office. Acrbat reader allows me to scroll and make the text size to my desires. I can also use the stylus to move around in the document.

Nonetheless, PDF files are not ideally suited for electronic books and I won't waste my money buying books in this format. I prefer Mobipocket for the electronic books I purchase to read on my pocket pc or my Cybook Gen3 eInk ebook reader.

I agree with Julie if you have a number of books mobipocket is excellent. If you want even more books theres a site called manybooks.net which gives you thousands of books to download straight to your axim for free. (Books were written before 1930 something or other though).
Another vote for mobibook, you have to convert them on your desktop first though. Also has good rss feeds you can browse. I never cared much for adobe reader I have version 2.1.
