Confused about x51v docking/network behavior

Hi,

I got a USB dock with my x51v, and I noticed that when I insert the x51v into the dock, it loses the WIFI connection and switches to networking via the Activesync connection.

I found a older thread in this forum, entitled "Internet connection over Usb" (1/18/07),
and I checked the "allow wireless connection on device when connected to the desktop", and that allowed the x51v to stay connected via WIFI when I inserted into the dock.

But, it looks like after I check that, I can no longer connect to the x51v via Activesync (i.e., even when the "Allow USB connections" in Activesync is checked, I can't connect to the x51v from my PC).

Are these two options mutually exclusive?

In other words, if "allow wireless connection on device when connected to the desktop" is enabled, can I no longer sync to the x51v via Activesync, unless I disable "allow wireless connection on device when connected to the desktop"?

Hi,

Sorry for all the questions: BTW, when the x51v is in the dock, can it be charged and connected to the PC (via the USB) simultaneously, even without a charger/adapter plugged into the dock?

Or, if the charger/adapter IS plugged into the dock, can it then be charged and connected to the PC (via the USB) simultaneously?
