Problem with TCPMP and WM6.1

Just loaded up WM6.1 (A06) on my x51v and I've since found that TCPMP no longer remembers what video was playing and where it was "bookmarked" after the Axim was powered down and back up. This used to work perfectly on WM5 A12 using TCPMP 0.71 and I've loaded the same on WM6 - no joy.

I note that there have been some that suggest you need to ensure that "Keep Playlist" is ticked in the settings - yes it is and makes no difference. I've also tried Core and the later version of TCPMP 0.72RC1

Is there something I've missed?

I have WM6 running with TCPMP with no issues. I also have a test X51V loaded with WM6.1 Lennys 11 with no issues. If you have not removed TCPMP from your unit and reinstalled I would try that first. Also go back to the site you found the ROM your using and ask the author there for some help or others that visit that site. :approve:

Thanks Mate, I have been experimenting with Hard resets and loading only TCPMP. It seems this morning that (for no reason other than I turned the Axim on) that its behavior has changed and seems to be working as expected. I might need to chase down another version of the ROM I'm using as I do know it's not the latest.

Some time later.............................

I've just updated to WM6.1 A11 (Lenny's ROM) and the same thing happens but only after the Axim is powered off then on. I'm not sure what the default behavior for TCPMP should be but it used to retain the "bookmark" after being powered off/on when using WM5. Bloody inconvenient now that it doesn't do it!

You may want to try LennySH's 07 ROM. Its not as fast as the 11 ROM but fewer issues have been reported with its functioning with different applications. :approve:

All my roms have TCPMP embedded and don't have any issues retaining the last sequence of the movie your watching after a power off.

This might seem like a dumb question but where do I find your ROMS so I can give them a go?

Thanks

It's OK I seem to have located them and will try them out today.

I can vouch for that because I have tested all of your ROMS and they are on a par with LennySHs or vise versa. The ROMs can be found on XDA-Developers web site. :approve:

Yep, and after some testing of others I came back to yours. :approve:

One issue I have noticed is that I cannot get the time set correctly for Brisbane UTC +10 with no daylight saving. It seems to apply the 1hour for daylight saving even though I selected "Brisbane"

Any thoughts?
