No audio after flasing my X50v to WM6

Has anyone experienced something like this? I searched around couple of forums yet nobody seems to be having a problem like mine.

Basically, I have NO audio whatsoever with WM6 / WM6.1. The device was flashed from WM5 A02 which was installed couple years ago using official dell software and was functioning normally when the flash was done.

The first rom I tried using was WM6.1 A09. After noticing the problem I re-flashed the device with Maglite WM6 A02. No difference. I haven't tried reverting back to WM5 yet.

I really like how much more stable / quicker the x50v runs on WM6 but it's virtually useless without audio. Help!

As in "No audio", did you try a headphone/headset?
If an external device works, it's most likely your speakers are broken.

From my readings of the xda forums it is one of two things:

1)Make sure the audio jack isn't messed up, some people have it sticking (like a cable is still inserted) after they remove a cable.

2)Others have reported that the sound drops in and out, if it isn't coming back after a softreset, try a hard reset and then maybe try rolling it back to WM5 or even WM2003 with dell's utility.
