VGA output. Do I need additonal software?

Hi guys, I tried searching but found no answer...

I have tried outputting my x51v to a monitor via a dell vga cable but I cannot get it to go full screen.

I have seen pictures and videos showing this being done.

Do I need an app to do it?

Many thanks in advance!

Matt

I think you will find that you just need to rotate the screen to landscape.

There is some software available for changing the resolution.
One that comes to mind is Nyditot.

It's been awhile since I tried VGA out on my X50v (I sadly lost the cable), but I do remember that you didn't have to have additional software. Screen rotation is built into the OS.
