Aximsitex50icon Pocket Access - CDB files

Hello folks,

I am getting my Axim x51v ramped up and all my apps on there. I am using Active Sync 4.2. (Build 4876). However, I am getting an error in trying to copy over Pocket Access, or rather MDB files, to my Dell Axim. Getting a conversion error message, and it won't convert them like they used to on my regular Dell Axim 5.
Keep in mind, I had to change Active Sync versions, so I can now no longer sync my old Dell Axim, which used to do this with no problem.

Any suggestions or workaround?

Thanks!

Maybe upgrade Office on your Axim, save them in the new format, then try to transfer..?

Download details: Microsoft Office Mobile 6.1: Upgrade for Microsoft Office 2007 file formats

(This upgrade works with WM5 and up)

Pocket Access files are not supported on WM5.0 devices and ActiveSync 4.5 does not support them even for older devices.. You'll need to find another way to handle those kinds of files. You may need to purchase an application like HanDbase.
