SD card DRM
So this is the first time I have ever been frustrated by DRM to the point that it actually made me WANT to hack/crack it. Its actually going to make me AVOID buying software I want to buy.

Anyway apparently all of the new GPS programs (OCN, Iguidance 2009, ect) all come preinstalled on SDHC cards with built in DRM to prevent moving them from the card. Why can't they just use a licensing system like Skyscape or Handango with online one copy licensing? I have too many programs installed to my SD card to warrant changing it.

There are so many flaws -- mostly related to corrupting of memory cards

Is there a solution?

Ah DRM, so, so evil.

Edit again: Okay, Copilot 7 supports our devices [X50(v)/51(v)] and comes on a 2GB SD Card. HOWEVER, if you create an online account you can redownload the software onto a different card, see their PDF:

Yeah I just bought Inav Iguidance 2009 on an 8gb micro SDHC. Hopefully it won't present any problems. I bit the bullet and bought it now that WM6.1 seems to run stably for me
