What is an application?

I've put a couple of e-mails on my card and when I try to open them, I get: "there is no application associated with........ Run the application first, then open the file....." Am I missing an "application?" Is it already on my x51v or do I have to download a program? Or, is it that I just don't know what I'm talking about and this ca

n't be done on my Axim?

What's the file extension of those e-mails that you put on the axim?

It's simply hotmail opened on my Axim with the new Iris Browser and clicked "Save Page"....

Does the Iris browser let you to open files? If not, try something like Resco Explorer (there's a demo) which allows you to "Open with", then select the Iris browser.
