Official Youtube Player Problem

From Jack Cook's blog: Youtube, Silverlight, and your WM Device.
I thought I would give it a spin and see how it does.
As soon as I open the program it gives this error:

Error
Connection problem
Failed to initialize. You will not be able to search or play videos.

I tried to install the program on my SD, CF, and main memory. Tried changing my country to United Kingdom. Didn't work. My network is perfect fine. Any ideas?

I know of a version of Youtubeplayer that works fine. I know the Youtubeplayer on Lenny's L11 no longer works, but I have the link to the new version of Youtubeplayer that works fine. It looks exactly the same as the Youtubeplayer on Lenny's L11, but it works without any errors. Your device must have Net Compact Framework 3.5 for it to work, but if you are using a WM6.1 ROM, it more than likely already has Net Compact Framework 3.5 installed. If you are interested send me a private message and I will send you the link to the program. I tried posting the link, but the site wouldn't let me because it says I must have at least 15 messages posted before I can provide links to other sites.

This Youtubeplayer also works on WM2003 SE. I've used it on my Ipaq rx3715 with WM2003 SE and I've used it on my x51v with WM5 and WM6.1. For WM2003 SE, you will have to install Net Compact Framework 3.5, though.

Consider it done
"New Youtube Player"

I have not tested it, so use at your own risk.

Thanks for posting the link and trust me, it works great and it's by far the best Youtube player that I've came across for pocket pc. I just used it yesterday.
