Can't see my device w/activesync on pc

Can't see my device w/activesync on pc. When I click explore device it shows me the c: drive of my pc. Running w/XP Home sp3, activesyn 4.5 & X51V.

Tried the fake server but still can display whats on my axim. I wanna put files on my cf card & while i know it takes longer than using a separate card reader I dont wanna wear out the slot with the constant inserting and removing of the cf card which happened on my X5 pda.

Any help?

thx

What rom are you running on the X51v? Unless you are running a WM6 rom or higher, you're best staying activesync version 4.2. If you really care that much, then Card Export II for Windows Mobile. Use the card inserted into your device as USB mass storage drive. might help.

If you want to customize your rom, you can do it with my Portable axim Rom kitchen, found at
