Pandora on axim x50v/x51v

About a week back, I found the official pandora application for windows mobile. I downloaded it from the pandora website, and read that it was only made to be compatible with a choice few phones. I installed it on my axim x50v anyways, just to try it out. To my surprise, pandora actually worked! The screen was a bit screwed up (later learned its just because my axim is vga), but the music played, and I had basic functionality. Then a day or so later, I upgraded my axim's ROM from wm6 (maglite) to wm6.1 (lennysh). Now, I can installe the official pandora app, and even run it.... but whenever I choose a station to start playing (or do just about anything else for that matter), the program gives me a visual c++ debug library message, saying "the debug assertion failed!"

Anyone had this problem with wm6.1 also? any way to fix it?
