Connecting Jawbone Headset

I installed AGE phone dialer on my Axim X51V and while connected to wireless (and external power) am able to talk via Voip.

BUT when I pair it with my Jawbone headset I cannot connect to it.
The Jawbone pairs and shows up as paired but nothing shows in the Services and I can't talk or hear through it.

Any help will be appreciated.

p.s. I am using Mobile 6.1 build 20273.1.1.1 LennySh (long live Lenny !!!)

I think your problem is to do with the A2DP profiles of the BT.
From memory the Ax doesn't have the correct profiles to use a BT headset built in. I don't think Lenny added them either.

I'm very mobile at the moment so searching isn't really possible for me, otherwise I would find the relevant threads for you.

Try searching for A2DP, Widcomm stack, BT headset, BT profiles, etc
The answer is here, I just can't remember what it is.

Hopefully someone with a better memory than me will drop in in the mean time.
I'm not even sure if it's the A2DP or another profile.

Thanks a lot.
I searched around and from a quick look at the posts it sounds like A2DP is what I need.
I should also try the Widcomm stack. (last time I used it A06 I had to hard reset)
Since I use my Axim as a GPS with a bluetooth antenna I am a little scared to play around with to much of the bluetooth stack. At least until after the summer.
I will read thru posts and see if I am ready to take the risk of hard resetting just now.
If it does work out I will let all know.

p.s. If when you can do a little searching could you please send some relevant links along with advice I would greatly appreciate it.

Will do, but I must admit I am travelling for a few weeks, so my connection and time here is limited.

I'm only online now because the Pub I'm in has free wifi, and my Ax is always to hand.

Mobile search is just too much trouble.

If you have the Dell BT GPS then yes, avoid the Widcomm stack.
I'm pretty sure there is an A2DP thread that will give you a fix for the headset without using widcomm.
