Could you please give me the files I need to get my axim x50 mid upgraded to wm5 A01 from wm2003 se A05 with the sd card loader? I cannot hook up to my pda via cable for the person I bought it off of ripped the connector clean of the board. I did manage to get it to charge via usb but that is as far as I can get. I am very good at repairing electronics but it is like soldering hairs together. I really need your help. please get me a link to the files or tell me where I could get it.

I have never tried this, so this is purely experimental. And may very well brick your Axim.

It is strongly recommended that you do NOT upgrade to WM5. WM2003SE for x50 mid is much better than WM5.

I have all the roms except for the one that will let me upgrade from wm2003se A05 to wm5 A01 from the sd card. I cannot hook via usb cable, the socket has been torn off.

I already am running wm2003se and I can't upgrade via usb cable because the socket has been torn off the board. The SD card is the only way I can proceed and I don't have the right nb0 and crc file to get it done. Can you help me? Steve your private message box is full.

Again, I have not even tried it (I do not have a x50), and it may not be recognized by the bootloader.

It didn't work. It flashed but then it wouldn't start backup again. I had to restore the previous version. Do you have any ideas? Also, I had to change the first part to DiMa to get it to recognize it. There has to be a way to upgrade from wm2003se A05 to wm5 A01 by flashing with the sd card.
