Question axim x50v mobile what is the best settings for viewing video & movies bitrate, frame

Hello,
I have searched the threads here, and I still do not have a clear understanding..

I use windows media player on my axim, I like this, dont want to change it...
I use the windows mobile device center to sync with...

when syncing, I let the program decide on what changes to video/movie are needed so that it will play on the axim...x50v wmp

some play very well, while other's are so choppy, I just do not understand what settings should be used... I do have the option to select myself, but have no idea what will work and yet be small enough for the axim to handle..

Can someone please tell me, what setting I should use... for bitrate, frames, audio...
for both video's and movies...

also I have vista for my desktop. the windows media player on it is a version 11

Thank you for your help...

To be honest, TCPMP will play your videos better than WMP.

Thanks Box, that is what I've been reading over and over again, but, I'd rather just stay with wmp...

do you know how many threads I've been reading, wow... but I've yet to find one that will say, for axim x50v wmp video's such and such bitrate frame etc will work good without taking up to much space... I think I might be getting close but, still haven't found it..

I did learn something new about converting tho, now I know every time you convert you have loss, I didn't know that before...hmmmm

do you know what is the basic bitrate, frame, audio the lowest that will work without having problems viewing or listening to ?

I've tried various ones and one thing or another is wrong

Which is why I say TCPMP is better.

WMP is not a good player and isn't reliable, you can have two files with the same FPS, Bit rate, etc and one will play and not the other.

I can't offer you any good advice for WMP.

Just about any other player will work better.

Why do you want to stay with WMP?

well, I've tried some other apps, and the axim really acted up, so I'd just rather use whats on it, plus, I have a way of messing things up here and there, because I am still learning this pda...

it's just me...wanting to keep it as simple as possible..

Thank you Box:o
