Aximsitex50icon Ms Office Problem!

Hey y'all! I have had my axim x51 for a while now and it's been great. But recently my son somehow deleted office and excel! Is that even possible to do!? I've tried but cannot find either.

I'm not worried about the documents or spreedsheets bc i save everything on my laptop aswell.

What can I do!?

Thanks

If it is the versions of the office software on the pocket pc, you should be able to recover them on the x51 by a hard reset; a hard reset will restore the original settings, and the office software is part of original package. Do note that the hard reset erases everything that isn't part of the original settings

It may be possible that just the shortcuts got deleted. U can use file explorer to go into the /windows folder and find the exes for word and excel. I dont remember exactly that they are named, but theyll have the icon next to them and you can open them to see if the work. Tap and copy and then go into the start menu folder, which is under /windows and paste them as a shortcut under programs.

First - Welcome to Mobilitysite.

Second - IF you do a hard reset, make sure you backup all your files first. Like hstn said, everything gets erased.

Third - Before you do a hard rest go to Programs under the start menu. Then select Home. You should find Pocket word and Excel there.
