velvettog Did you say X15, but meant to say X51? Anyways, I am not sure if the Media player on the Axim can actually play WMV files. I tried to open an AVI from Media Player and it tells me there's "not enough storage to open the file". However, I installed The Core media player to view videos. I can't remember the link where I got it, but you can search for it. The version I got is TCPMP_0.81RC1Beta. However, I'm new to all these apps for the Axim, and when I try to view videos off my SD card, it stops every few seconds to buffer.

If you have pretty fast machine dual or quad core check out poctet dvd studio's dvd-computer-axim software. for 30 bucks it will save you many future hassles. If you look on this site there are complaints and confusions all over the place on videos this is one quick way to get quality videos to your pc. If you want something free thats another matter. On a quad it takes less than 30 minutes to put a full movie to pocket pc.

Have you tried TCPMP, heres the latest version:
TCPMP

I have better luck with AVI and MPEG videos, you can use SUPER to convert to many formats, and its free:
SUPER - Video software and downloads - VideoHelp.com
