They've made some pretty significant advances with both sending "sight" information right into the brain and plugging up cameras to the nerves in the retina. Obviously at this point it's all for restoring sight to blind people since so far all they've really been able to do is very small arrays of 'pixels'. In another 100 years or so though, it might have advanced enough to be an operation like lasik to double your eye's resolution. All wishful thinking and I'm sure I won't be around for it, but it's cool to think about :approve:
