Yay yay yay... I'm glad to see the "official" specs (in that pdf) verify that the X50v only a bit larger than the (ideally sized, IMO) iPAQ 4155!!!

4155: 113.6 mm x 70.6 mm x 13.5 mm
X50v: 119.0 mm x 73.0 mm x 16.0 mm

Although the X50v is about 30% heavier (6.2oz vs. 4.67oz), I care mostly about size.

YAY.

"Additionally, the X50v offers an optional presentation bundle that road warriors can
use to take advantage of the dual display capability to connect to a projector or VGA
display and easily deliver presentations."
Now this is a feature, i have hoped for! Currently i use a fly presenter VGA card with my Axim X5 which:

a) is slow
b) takes up the CF slot.

What a pitty .. no programable On/Off button ( top button -> right button in landscape mode ) ... What the hell do all ppc makers promote landscape mode but forget to add programable buttons on top / right side in landscape mode.

If you speak Indian, it's wonderful!

Otherwise, you probably won't be able to understand most of what they say.

Did anyone notice the "Memory" section towards the end? It seems to imply that the maximum card size for the X50 is 1GB (for either CF or SD cards). I have never really dealt with memory cards above 1GB, is this actually a statement of capacity limitation, or perhaps just a list of dell-provided accessories that are compatible with the X50?

How well does WM2003SE deal with cards above 1GB? What about using the new 2GB SD cards in an X30?

It's good to see that the same graphic appears on the Dell Canada website as well: http://www1.ca.dell.com/content/prod...HS1&l=en&s=dhs

I'm curious about this as well - I was about to order a 2GB card.

Me too. Now I think I'll wait till I hear if anyone else has any problems before ordering one, but I don't see any reason why they should.

But if you notice, that's under the "Accessories" section.... meaning basically, "here are products that Dell sells which you should buy when ordering your X50." It doesn't mean that a >1GB card will not work in it.
