From the research I've done it can only have one of each type of connection active at the same time. So you can use a bluetooth GPS as a serial port, and the phone as dial up networking at the same time (vital for things like TomTom Traffic). Not sure about how it would work with the keyboard.

Using bluetooth GPS as a serial port? That kind of got me there.

Isnt serial port something you connect via the bottom of the axim?

If not, then the axim is capable of connecting to two device simultaneously with bluetooth! Bluetooth as in wirelessly ! nice!

When you connect to a bluetooth device the connection can be configured in different ways, one of which is as a virtual serial port, it emulates serial port protocol, but uses wireless.

As I understand the situation, you can only have one of these "virtual" serial ports active at any one time, so to access a data service via a GPRS phone (for example) you have to connect the phone as a "dial up networking" connection.

If you have bluetooth on a PC you can see the different connections it supports looking at "my device" in "my bluetooth places"

So the ability to connect multiple devices is limited by the types of connection you want to use.

Hope that makes it clearer.
