Extra Resolution on PIE

I am really not liking surfing the net on my X50v with the normal resolution but I can't stand SE VGA all the time. Is there a program that would allow me to view PIE under SE VGA but not the rest?

I basically want to be able to see the whole webpage instead of little pieces while scrolling.


ALso my PIE seems to be going a bit slower than it was with my x30. Why?

i think tweaks2k2 allows you to do VGA brute force (under system tweaks) on particular programs while running in normal WM2003SE mode. It works well for me with acrobat reader.

I used this method to convert Mapopolis (a GPS software) to a VGA-aware program. It shows maps in 640x480 resolution but keeps menu icons and labels in normal readable size.

I dont understand what it means when they are saying to copy the EXE off of the PDA. Are you downloading to the X50v with active sync. I have the files copied to my laptop but Im not for sure what I need to do. Does this hack let you view websites totally in the screen instead of pieces.

Nevermind I saw in the Tweak2K2 forum that PIE is already VGA and the Brute Froce will not do anything for it.

So, is there anyway to show PIE in true 640x480 while the rest of the device stays in 320x240?

Basically the hack adds a resource (or a property) to an EXE file on your PPC and make it VGA-aware (In Germwise case, the EXE should be \windows\iexplore.exe). In order to do so, you need to first copy the EXE to your laptop, run the Resource hack program and open the EXE file, then follow the rest steps to create a new EXE. At the end, copy the EXE back to your PPC and run it.

I didn't try this hack to iexplore.exe but I suspect the iexplore.exe is already VGA-aware. I will let you guys find out.

I use SPB PocketPlus 2.2 full screen with layout in one column mode and text at largest. Not to bad. I can use my thumb to change windows. Try a third-party solution,

Get a QVGA PIE and apply the Brutal Force on it :-)

For some strange reason I can't find iexplorer.exe in on my PPC...

If it is VGA aware anyway what am I needing to do?

BTW tweaks2k2 ticked me off. I accidentally downloaded the spanish version 2 times and by the time I got the english version it said this is the last time you can run it... GRRR

Ok so i am getting addicted to using my axim in full vga mode. is there anyway of making the on screen keyboard larger and change text size on web pages?
