You have no idea how happy I was to see a nice dell package in my office today. Well that lasted until I opened the box and only found a CD and a cord and a torn box where I assume the x50v would have been. Dell tape was removed from the package and replaced with just clear one. The shipping sticker was half removed...probably stolen by a delivery guy or whoever. I am so mad, but mostly disappointed. Had been having a bad month and this seemed like a nice relief of stress...no luck! Well another one is coming next week so I maybe better luck next week. Thanks for letting me vent. :realmad:
Demand that they refund the cost of delivery at least. Although it may not be Dell's fault per se, companies are always very twitchy when something like this happens. Vicarious liability, etc.
Worth a shot at any rate.

I would like UPS to pay for time lost, but I doubt I will get anywhere this way. I really like DELL customer support and I don't want to hassle them. I mean they try to satisfy our needs in any way possible. This is my experience, though it's not very extensive

no need to go after UPS. you should go directly to Dell. they while file the claim with UPS so the extra axim won't end up costing them anything. make sure you contact them right away!
I don't know where we are going with all this. No shame just take what you want and good bye. I like so much when an idiot like this get caught. I hope for you that Dell will give you something for this. Not entirely their fault but the chose the shipping company.
