How to get that extra 2 MB

I have posted in several threads about Oddyssey Client. The problem with deleting the one in Program Files\Funk Software\ is that the file will be restored after a Soft or Hard reset. To keep it from coming back copy a balnk .pwi file to the \Program Files\Funk Software directory, delete the OdClientCE.exe file and then rename the blank.pwi file to OdClientCE.exe. The system will think it is there and will not restore it. Enjoy your 2MB

You make it yourself using your favorite text editor :approve: Just create a new document and save it while it is blank.

It's a WiFi Utility. Even though you are uninstalling there is also a OdClientCE.exe in the \Windows\ Directory you can point to. Still unsure why the chose to have it in two places.

Just a couple notes:

1) because of your post, I found that I had an old copy of the odClientCE.exe in the \Program Files\Funk Software\ folder. This might explain why I had so much trouble getting it to work. :approve:

2) I had to use ActiveSync (explore) to rename the .pwi file, because the File Explorer on the Axim only modified the name, but not the extention... so I first ended up with odClientCE.exe.pwi

Also, thanks for the update! With memory at a premium, every meg counts!

A related question about RAM. Are Note, Word, and Excel documents stored in RAM? Is there a way to set the default folder for storage of these files? How can I tell what I have stored on RAM? For some reason I only have 30 Mb of RAM free.
