Activesync Conflict Resolution

i tried searching for this on the forums, but haven't been able to find an adequate solution...

When my x50mid attempts to download stuff from the outlook inbox via activesync 3.7.1 (using a cradle), it leaves 17 unresolved items. Clicking on 'resolve items' just makes the x50 sync all over again, with the same outcome.

I've tried changing the "rules" settings to make the desktop pc the default so that everything on the ppc would be replaced, but that hasn't seemed to work either.

Anyone have any idea how to make that 'resolve conflict' window appear or how to sync it properly? thx.

I had the same problem and found that it primarily related to deleted items on the Axim. I cleared the deleted items on the axim, removed it from the cradle and reseated and it seemed to resolve the conflicts.

I also found this link http://www.cewindows.net/faqs/unresolveditems.htm which might help.

hmm... according to the 'status' screen of my inbox on the ppc, i have no messages waiting to be deleted. at least not for my outlook account. could it be something else? or are the deleted messages of other pop3 accounts on my ppc affecting the activesync?

hmmm so now i've narrowed down the problem a little. the problem is that activesync won't sync any files with attachments in them. I've tried messing around with the AS settings so that it either puts a limit on emails with attachments or takes away the limit, but to no avail. Any other thoughts?
