Recent Programs List

Is there a way to disable the "Recent Programs" list on my Axim x50v? That list gets way too long and I like keeping my Start Menu short. I like the way it handled the programs before SE.. If there's no way to disable it, is there a setting somewhere to limit the amount of programs listed? I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks!

my recent program list only shows 6 programs. yours shows more? i looked through the settings area and could not find anything to adjust this. perhaps it is a 2003SE thing.

Get a registry editor and navigate to "\HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Shell\TaskSwitch\" and delete all the entries. Then, do a soft reset.

The soft reset is to force the start menu to reset itself, but I'm still looking for a way to do it without a reset. However, this was a five minute quick solution.
