I got mine to pass the video test by pressing 'Start', waiting for the spinning 'busy' icon to display for a few seconds, then pressing 'Start' again behind the busy icon.

Aximsitex50icon Does the x50v have a Memory Diagnostic tool?

Hi,

I suspect the flash memory on my x50v might be corrupt, it takes about 5 minutes to boot into the main screen and another 5 minutes to load all the CF and SD cards, after I press "reset". Is there a tool that finds and "marks" bad sectors in Flash?

Thanks a Bunch!

How big are your CF and SD cards? Do both of them have a My Documents folder in the root directory? If the cards are large and if you don't have a My Documents folder the operating system will build an entire inventory of the card at each soft reset. That process can take some time. Even if you have a My Documents folder, it seems to take longer to reset the bigger the card(s) are.
