Using Axim X50v as phone via bluetooth phone

I have been trying and trying to use axim x50v as a speaker and mic for my Sony Ericsson T616 bluetooth phone. I paired the devices but T616 does not see Audio headset as services provided by Axim.

Any ideas !!!

I don't think the Axim provides them, just accepts them as a service. It does provide Audio Gateway, but I am not sure its bi-directional either.

At any rate I don't think the T610/616 accepts Audio Gateway, but just the Headset profile. However, it would be cool if yoou could get the Axim to work as a pohone receiver.

I'm not very clear on this yet. I thought it might be possible to use the X50v as VOIP phone if we have the right SW and have an internet connection via Bluetooth or WIFI. Does anyone know of VOIP SW on ppc?

Why would you want the Axim to be a phone when you have the T616??

thats if you use the internet through your phone and then use a VOIP app,

is what ssb wants to do (i believe) is use the axim as a mic and headset for the phone when using the cell phone as a normal phone to call people

voip is over the internet with special apps...

Well.. I have used skype and it works well with x50v. But I wanted to use X50v's speaker as my SE T616 does not have a speaker phone. It kind's of easy to make conference calls with a speaker phone
