Battery still gets drained by calendar events

I'm still experiencing the problem where I pick up my X50v and it won't power up because battery is at 25%. I believe it is caused by calendar events.

I've set my device to auto turn off after 1 minute, not to flash the light forever, and even for calendar alerts not to display a dialog box but I still get battery drain. When I plug it in I'll see the calendar alert alarm bells on the bottom of my Today screen.

Any ideas?

so under sound in Settings folder

under the third tab, for REMINDERS (you have everything unchecked ??)

then you should not be draining the battery. I have it set that way and yes you see reminder icons in the tray but my battery is not running down all the time overnite. did you uncheck autoreceive Infra red? that also can save some power.

For Reminders, I have:

[X] Play sound
[ ] Repeat
[ ] Display message on screen
[X] Flash light for [10 minutes]

For power settings, I have turn off after 3 minutes of inactivity.

Looks okay to me, but everyday battery gets drained if I don't dismiss calendar alerts!!
