axim keeps trying to connect to 'net

for some reason...every 5 min or so..i get a lil notice saying i have no medem connection set up and wifi is not turned on as if something we trying to connect... nothing is running in the BG that im aware of..ive closed everything running in memory. is this just a standard thing or do i have some weird option enabled?? only reason it bother is me is cuz ill be playing a full screen game, and this interupts it..i also see it while my screensaver is running. thankssss

do you have outlook set to check mail every 5 minutes?

ahh.. u are a very smart man. silly me..dunno why i didnt think about that. is there some kind of setting to only allow it to check if connected to 'net??

Select the ActiveSync account before closing the Inbox or moving out of range of your network.

Inbox -> Options -Accounts -> The name of the Account -> Next -> Next -> next - OPTIONS -> Uncheck "Connect and check for messages every: _ minute(s)"
