Has anyone managed to map buttons in windows media player 10? Wimp 10 seems a complete waste of space as it won't do the 2 thngs I need:
Play a folder without stuffing around with playlists
Map buttons

Altenately, does anyone now how to get wmp9 installed?

the button mapping seems to be totally fubared (at least with an x50v)

it works on the directional buttons and the action button but any of the other ones just do their default action and open a program

I thought I was the only one having problems with the buttons.

Agreed. None of the program buttons work... they just open up the programs associated witn them which is incredibly annoying and useless.

I have come to the conclusion that wimp10 is insanely bad and not worth spending my time on.

WMP 10 Mapping

I have also discovered this button mapping issue. I tried to look as other devices to determine if it is an X50V issue or a WMP 10 issue. Nobody else using it so I have been dealing with Dell customer tech support. Getting a lot of while trying to get . Let's see what they say.
