Some general ?'s concerning PHM2004 and x50v's scaling utility

Hey,

If you're familiar with this program, can you tell me if the two conflict with each other? I'm hoping that the two programs don't conflict and cause MORE battery usage...

Is this program worth it on the x50v? I have a copy b/c of my 2215... but am unsure whether to install it here...

What's the optimal setting for speed that's a good balance b/w speed and battery power usage...? Around 472 Mhz? Does that extend battery usage?

Thanks...

Yes, disable scaling in the Windows Mobile, they will conflict. Set your processor to normal or Max Performance . . .

PHM2004 has some issues with the PXA270 devices, i havent tried using it on the x50v yet but it locked up the 4700 rather frequently others are reporting the same problem. Ive kinda given up on the tweaking myself after running into too many problems, maybe after the ones I am interested in have been put through the ringer with more willing guinnea pigs Ill try again but for now I normally keep it on auto for normal use and adjust when needed for other things.

Have you tried the most recent release? The PXA270 module was added . . .You do need to make sure you disable Windows Mobile processor scaling . . .
