x50 mid, vs x50v

how big is the difference the screen makes?

at home i currently have a toshiba e830 and its vga

but thats my dads, and i just ordered myself the x50 mid

my main question is weather i made a mistake not opting for the better screen

i assumed the difference wouldnt be totally drastic, and i choose the mid for the longer battery life, but now after i placed my order i see all the axim users ranting and raving about their x50v , anyways just cursious on some feedback about the mid 520 mghz x50

Screenwise, if you plan to use a x50v in the "native" mode, there's no point in getting the x50v, stick to the x50 mid. It becomes interesting when you want to use SE_VGA or OZvga. Turns your x50v (NOT x50 !) into a real-VGA device : 480x640 resolution. Some may not like it though. Personnaly, once I tasted it, I could not get back to native mode.

The screen is stunning when viewed next to a non VGA device. But if you need the better battery life you might of made the right choice :).
