connection trouble..using ethernet card
router says my hubby's x50 is connected, but he can't surf...
he connected fine at work...Anyone have any advice re this, would be much appreciated.

Try changing the Work and Internet settings. Change them up a few times - this is the most common problem with internet pass-through.
