Messaging doesn't work

Microsoft Messaging doesn't seem to work for me anymore. I press the messaging button and nothing happens, I click messages and nothing happens. It would be good to know how to repair programs in general for the X50 as well.
Help is appreciated.

Did you try a soft reset? (That's the reset button).

Have you installed any software recently?

I don't remember installing any new software, but I recently found the problem. I haven't used messaging in a while. I tried a softreset, and it did nothing.
