ReplayTV + betaplayer final word?

I have 2 replaytv's and I'm hoping for an Axim x50v tomorrow. Has anybody gotten low quality "raw" replay mpeg2's to work with betaplayer (or any other player)? They are about 1.8 mbps. If someone has gotten them to work, have they worked from a microdrive?

Hoping to play raw replaytv mpeg's from axim + 4GB microdrive...

Oh, is mpeg2 support anticipated? I've been looking for any device that will play raw replaytv files since I got my replay. I just loaded up my standard quality 1.8 mbps or so and it played the audio fine but the video was garbage. Is it any encouragement that it benchmarked at 126% or is does that really not mean anything?

I am so excited about full quality replaytv I am making eeking noises involuntarily.

Thanks for your noble work picard!!

It's planed, but not anytime soon, maybe next month.

The current benchmark results are not relevant. What device do you have? I assume an X50v would be to handle it.

SUEET. I am so stoked. I got the X50v for christmas. I guess it remains to be seen if it will play off of a microdrive though? If it will then I will have to take the plunge and get a 4GB the moment you release your next version.

Thanks so much for your hard work!

in the meantime maybe you can schedule your shows downloading to your PC every night with DVArchive, and then run them through a converter to Xvid.

If you use PocketDivxEncoder, you can specify a directory, and it will automatically batch convert all of the files in the directory.. which is perfect for using with DVArchive..
