windows media player 10 sync problems

In anticipation of my x50 christmas present, I ripped all of my cds and purchased about a dozen songs online. Why is it that when I try and sync my laptop wmp 10 and my axim wmp 10 it won't let me transfer the songs I transferred that I purchased online. The message on the screen says something about a security upgrade not being available for download. also I am not connected to the internet when I am trying to do this. where can I find this security upgrade, has anyone ran into this problem?
