please help me find my DEVICE ID! thanks!

ok i did a search on this, but all the threads did not fix my problem...i am trying to install a medical program, and it is stating that i need to enter a device ID before i continue. i tried going to settings-system-about-device ID, but you do, you get the device name, not ID...most people think this is the device ID, but it did not work for me. obviously i have a dell axim x50v. any ideas for me to look under?

Start >> settings>>system>>About>>Device ID

Go to Start> Settings> System Tab> About> Device ID Tab.

It should be whatever device ID you gave it when setting up Activsync.

Alternatively Open the software you are trying to register.
Then usually from the Menu click either " about" or "register" to get the device ID

Doesn't Activesync tell you the device ID when you have your Axim on the cradle?

yeah with the program i am trying to install, it will not accept the code that this in device id on the unit...i ended up having to use the code they gave me in the program...got it work, thanks.
