Games playable on x50v as-is? Or the Gapi tweak required?

I've been reading a lot about the gapi tweak, and I just want to try and verify something. From my understanding, games are NOT playable (ie; EverQuest) unless you download the Gapi tweak? If this is true, are all of the kinks works out with the tweak, or do some games still not work? Thanks in advance.

The tweak certainly helps with a lot of aplications, not all of them though (they have to use GAPI and some of them just crash).

Without the driver some games ARE unplayable or at least laggy.

Just get the tweak, it's worth it :)

I haven't installed the tweak yet. I haven't had any problems with games. Haven't tried EverQuest yet, though.

most games are playable without they just run faster with the tweak. There are some compatability issues that made right for certain games by using the tweak but I dont know of any definative list.

For the most part, I don't activate the tweak. However, there are like three games that I have to use the tweak in order to play.

Crazy Kart needs the tweak on or else all you get is a white screen and will need to soft reset to get back to using your X50v.

Could you guys help me out here. I downloaded the gapi tweak setup file from emulamer's site. I installed it, got to the screen where it asks you were you want it installed 9I select main memory as it suggests) and then voila! NOTHING!!. Can't find it anywhere..

Just tap on th icon and select QVGA mode then apply. I just leave mine on all the time.

I've Just found a Game that goes white screen with QVGA mode on GeoRally 2005. I'm going to have to re-think my leaving QVGA mode on all the time now.

I leave my inactivated unless I find a program that specifically needs it (which isn't that often).
