There is a lot to love about Axims. I recomend before you buy anything else you get a screenprotector. I got my first set directly from Dell and they got the job done but basically they sucked compared to a brand called boxwave.

I am assuming you have the x50 so try this link http://www.boxwave.com/products/clea...im-x50_462.htm

I have the x3i but they are all on that website. (www.boxwave.com) This may be one of the best screenprotectors out there that I have tried.

Some people say they like screenprotectors some dont. My feeling is that they are definitely worth it.

As for buying other things, take your time. Test out different software the last thing you want to do is buy 25 programs and half of them you dont use.

My favorite app is my remote control... www.pdawin.com

Have fun. and check out some of the tutorial stuff on this page it really helps get you on your feet

I have a 1GB PNY SD card, and have not had a single problem with it. WRT a screen protector, I use a Boxwave Clear Touch Crystal, and give it a 9.5 out of 10.

Congrats on getting your Axim!! :approve: I've gone all Lexar for my cards (see sig below) and I've not had any trouble at all. You will find that most people have good experiences with the biggest cards they can afford, regardless of brand.

I second the Boxwave recommendation, and I have been very happy so far with my Lexar 1gb SD card. Also, you'll probably want a case if you haven't already ordered one.

Check out this thread. :approve: Not exactly an answer to your question, but some data on power and various media.
