Hmm Which mode do you use?

Hi everyone,

I was thinking , If I knocked my X50v down to QVGA and Run the gapi tweak would I have any problems with software, In other words would it be just like the X50 mid ?

You may be thinking, what’s the point, my point is compatibility with software, would I be able to use all the stuff I've used before without a problem?

Oops... didn't see the poll... anyway...

I use SEVGA for standard use, and TRUE VGA for browsing and PDFing.

I find TRUE VGA is nice, but it gets a bit heavy on overall system performance... and it's hard to see!!!

I tried OZ_VGA. Everything was to small. I just use whatever you call the VGA my X50v came with.

Now that's a poll I'd like to see! What do you call the VGA X50vs run out of the box?

Ditto. My eyes can't deal with the small print.

I like the true/real VGA for all purposes as opposed to standard VGA (the default). I've installed SE_VGA and then OzVGA to fine tune the font size.

Also the pocketbreeze, pocket contact have given me exceptional control in font size and color. :approve:

So, I'm very happy running my Axim X50v in true/real VGA mode all the time.

Infact now the standard VGA mode is kinda ugly/grotesque to me.
So, go figure...

I use true VGA mode 100% of the time now. At first I was using both modes and switching back and forth, but that is a hassle. You just have to use the right VGA compatible software and make some font setting changes. Although some of the image buttons/icons are tiny, I can deal with that.

I almost exclusively use standard VGA. I cannot stand the tiny controls when using SE_VGA.
