Accessing Network Files

Does anyone know how to access lan shared files? I tried accessing my computer thru lan and it doesn't work. Are there secondary programs out there that allows me to access network files? Thanks.

Resco Explorer is the easiest to use; it's not free but there is a demo. Total Commander, which is freeware, is another one to try.

Hi Style3D,

Resco Explorer from http://www.resco-net.com/pocketpc.asp has this functionality. Give it a go. I would NEVER go back to the standard file explorer. This one comes with registry editor, ftp client, lan-ability, and all the features that were missing from Microsoft File Explorer (ability to view file properties, zip compression/decompression, folder "up" command, etc.)

Best Regards,
Christopher H.

An alternative to Resco Explorer is to try Advanced Explorer. It's not free, but very reasonably priced. Support is great too. :approve:

just go to file explorer, press the 3rd tab on the bottom, an when it pops up, type in the name of the desired computer that shares the data...Are you useing wifi or bluetooth?

I *think* the problem with File Explorer is that although you can view your network files, you cannot access them.
