Active Sync & Password protected files

Hi,
First posting so apologies for any protocol errors.
Can anyone advise me of a way to get Active Sync to accept password protected files. In this case an excel spreadsheet that I would prefer was protected both on the parent machine and my X50v.

Thanks Keith

Welcome to the site.

The whole point behind not allowing password protected files to sync is to prevent them from being moved around with permission. You have to turn off password protection before you can sync it.

How do you then re-password protect a document?
