Windows>Start>Program???

I have recently moved a load of programs to my CF card. But as I'm sure that you know, now none of the shortcuts work in the programs folder on the start menu. So I located the relevent files in Resco Explorer and copied them to Windows>start>Programs. But this Creates a short cut in Programs but the short cuts don't work. What am I doing wrong?

I don't understand - what files did you move? I imagine for many programs, if you find the executable files and paste shortcuts to each of them, it would work but not all since some installations place values in the registry.

The 'better' way to move programs is to remove them (either by unchecking the boxes in ActiveSync on the PC or using the Remove Programs function in the settings menu) then reinstalling them by rechecking the boxes in ActiveSync but telling it to install to the card.

ok I'll uninstall them. But that bit you said about shortcuts. Is that done by copying and paisting executable files or is there a proper shortcut function somewhere that I haven't noticed?

I don't use Resco, but on the other file explorers, you 'copy' the executable and 'paste as shortcut.'

[Edit: In Total Commander, there is a 'Create shortcut' menu item.]

Go to the Exe and create shortcut then cut and paste shortcut where you want to install like startup, programs,My documents etc, also when installing programs dont choose default location choose to install to your BIS,CF or SD card for storage. Although some special programs need to be in Ram, but most don't. :approve:
