Dell UK price drop - will they refund?

where did you email?, ive sent an email before and never got anything back

I used their Customer Assistance Form which states that they'll reply within 24 hours, which they do. However, the email I got back included the following message:


Please be advised that, Dell's special offers change regularly and should be requested during their validity dates. Due these changes the price of all our products change regularly.

It was worth a try...

I got the same email when I complained about the lack of GPRS/GSM Card from the special offer. I then phoned and they promised to send one out when it came into stock.

It came in and them sent out a FM Radio instead!!!! So I emailed again and they've delivered the GPRS/GSM Card!!!

Anybody want a FM Radio CF Card?

well, i emailed the same address. i've not had a reply back as yet, however, they did give me 3 years warranty yesterday FOC so i assume they might not answer my email now.

what did you say to get the 3 years warranty

i said wasn't happy, they offered me an upgrade to my existing warranty to a 3rd year which is worth 68 quid i think. but i already paid 28 quid for the upgraded warranty, so i actually only got the difference really. but, 3 years is better than nothing. we are technically not entitled to anything. but it sure does ache paying all that money and then it's massively reduced.

Finally rang dell up today. I managed to get the woman to give me a £30 refund. So technically I've now bought it for £310 - much happier now!

Forgot to mention about the free gift they now offer though!
