But you can read, right? In that case follow the on-screen instructions.

I bought my Axim X50v couple of months ago. According to the System Information on my device, my ROM version is A01. Is ROM Update A02 for me? Where can I find the file for downloading to my device?
Many thanks.

What do you think. Is Dell counting down or up for an update?
To download the update see the first message of this thread.

VGA Software Thread on AximSite (Title: The Official VGA Optimised Software List)
...I'm trying to keep this one limited to tips, tricks and tweaks. Thanks!

Added " Some True VGA WisBar Advanced 2 Skins" section thanks to Double-Trinity. I hope more people will make skins with bigger buttons for true VGA mode. :approve:

One of the reviews I read, (yes, I forget which), they did some tests and found the auto worked well. In other words, if a program needed total cpu it cranked up like it should.
So auto really should be used on battery... not much advantage to going fixed.
Anyone have experience otherwise?

I have not taken my x50v CPU out of auto at all - it runs Great! When the speed is needed, it's there. It actually seems to run faster just leaving it in auto than my hx4700 did, and it ran at 624 MHz all the time (had no adjustment setting).

When changing a theme in true vga mode, it won't be displayed full screen. So I wrote a small script utilty that is streching the theme to display it full screen without doing a soft reset. You might want to add it on your list. I mentioned it a the end of this post .

Conserve power == when battery is low, turn wireless off.
Power save == turn wireless off if no activity for xx minutes.
According to Dell support (phone) there is no direct effect on range of the WiFi card, as I suggested.

Thanks for this patch. When I install it on my x50v, it installs fine and I get the message about it being added to the "Remove Programs" menu, but when I go to Remove Programs it is not actually listed there. It should be, right?
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm still very new to PPC, and maybe my ignorance can help other newbs. If you think it hasn't installed, don't worry, it has, go ahead and pair the headphones and you will be happy!

Hidden equalizer. The log hides the key (HKEY CURENT USER\ControlPanel\AudioAdvContrl), which enables sound post processing. Follow the link to download the key change program.
bron
Contrast adjustment. . Rename the log entry HKEY LOCAL MACHINE\ControlPanel\Contrast from Redirect. This will add contrast adjustment to the control panel.
Don't know to what the entry has to be renamed too.
