beecher - I tested this and it didn't release any RAM. When I copied over it I was told it is in ROM. When you copy over an item in ROM your PPC will use the one you copied over it with but the other one is still there in ROM. The Odyssey client, however, was in RAM.
Technically this adds (takes away actually) 1k of memory and the Home utility. While I don't use the Home utility either, I'm afraid we don't save anything here. Keep checking things out though. The more memory we can take back the better!

To impove memory card reading speed - defragment it with pocket mechanic (or other defragmenting program).
But how I can to defragment Built-in Storage ?(I did'n find program that can do it).
Can you explain what the benefit of the Broadcom BT stack 1.6 is for us X50v users with the A03 ROM? Also, any risks you can mention? Thanks and pardon my ignorance. :)

Thanks for the list! I find it extremely useful in getting a running start with my PDA.
However, I'm having trouble getting a hold of OZ_VGA. The link posted here seems to be down. And I can't seem to find a single download link via Google, only threads discussing the software! Am I crazy or something??
however, you named mine :
Metallurgy (Provided by duckie)
But it should be Mac OS Tiger (Provided by duckie)
Sorry! Now you know my copy & Paste skills! Changed!

Sorry for update delays, I've been spending a lot of time understanding my 30gb iPod Photo. Trying to get to know it as well as my x50v!. So far I'm able to sync Outlook, RSS Feeds, Weather and Movie showtimes with it!
