Sluggish Wifi Enabling

When I hit the wifi enable button (at my home or at other known and strong wifi sites), I can see the icon showing wifi is working, green light flashing, but no connection can be made for several minutes, sometimes after several attempts. This can take more than five minutes or longer. What gives?

Is this typical or is there something wrong or an adjustment that needs to be made?

Unfortunately just one of the many issues with wifi or bluetooth that the x50v has. VERY annoying isn't it? I ended up hard resetting my x50v to fix it, but it's often alleviated by removing Today plug-ins. Sometimes even that doesn't help and it's a hard reset that does it.

FIX IT DELL!
