Active Sync through SSH

I would like to sync my PDA with my computer at home while I am at work where I have access to a wireless network. I plan on setting up a SSH connection from my laptop to home and use port forwarding to get the connection from the PDA to my machine at home (I have all of this figured out).

The only thing I can't figure out is where I can tell Active Sync to connect to my laptop (by specifying an IP address), all I see is the name of my computer at home, which I can't change. Any tips would be appreciated (I did read all the guides I could find, and did a search, but no luck).

It looks like this can work, but I am having a final issue. I setup the forwarding, when I hit "sync" on my pocket PC, I can see the Active Sync logo on my home PC activate (it rotates), while both the PDA and workstation show they are "connecting". But that's about as far as I get, so I am wondering if I missed a port, or something else. I am forwarding 990, 999, 5678 and 5679, all TCP.

offtopic....but what ssh client do you use on your axim?

I haven't installed one yet, I am running the SSH client on my laptop right now (as the laptop ip has access to my server at home, and the PPC doesn't), but there are some working SSH clients out there if that's what you are wondering, I used one on my Toshiba e740 a year ago, I just have to find the bookmark again. I will post the name once I find it.
