Problems with WeatherPanel in True VGA

I'm currently current ozVGA and would like to continue in true vga mode but WeatherPanel really sucks in this mode. It's font's are too big and it's just not a good fit.

While I love WeatherPanel I really think it should be removed from the VGA software list. This is because ONLY it's icons are VGA compatible, nothing else. Not the refresh icon or settings icon on the today page or any SUB page is VGA enabled.

Anyway have any recommendations to getting this to work?

Here's a screenshot of my Today screen with SE and OZ running. I am running WeatherPanel version 2.1.1, and I have it running in "large" mode. If I run it in "medium" or "compact" modes, the text doesn't look right for the OZ font scaling I've selected. Is this what yours looks like in "large" mode?

Turns out there is a new version 2.2.6 (don't install yet as I'm working with them to fix a reset loop problem) and it lets you customize the layout of the icons, etc by modifying a file. I should be able to get it looking really good with it running in VGA mode.

This brings up another question though, how do you do screen shots?

I'm using MagicSS. It does a good job in screen captures. The image is better than the one posted, since it has to be reduced in physical and file size.

MagicSS

Keep us up-to-date on the new version!

Hi,

Can you tell me a little bit about what you have running there. Specifically, you must be running some apps for the top and bottom bars. Also, I see that the date font is pretty big for VGA (?). How did you increase the size?

Thanks
